In February Sameer Sarfraz of 1UQ took part in the "Design a Play Area" competition at The Met, Bury. The aim of the competition was to design a play area using natural resources and considering children of all ages and children with disabilities. There were 60 entries in the two day competition and Sameer won. Sameer received his prizes and award at a special ceremony at the end of April. In the next few months he is going to be working with an architect to turn his design into a reality.
